OP/ED karaoke tracks giving you trouble?
  • Media Player Classic (MPC)
    • Options -> Playback
      Uncheck "Auto-load subtitles"

    • Options -> Playback -> Output
      Make sure renderer is set to VMR7 VMR9 (recommended for XP), Haali, or EVR Custom (recommended for Vista)
      If VMR9 or EVR Custom is selected, make sure "Lock back-buffer" is checked

    • Options -> Internal Filters
      Disable the "Matroska" source filter

  • DirectVobSub/VSFilter
    • Main
      Uncheck "Only show forced subtitles" (should be off anyway)

    • General
      Set "Loading" to "Load When Needed"
      Check "External"

    • Misc
      Uncheck "Pre-buffer subpictures"

  • Haali Media Splitter
    • Compatibility
      Set "Autoload VSFilter" to "Yes"
